Congratulations on your decision to add a four-legged friend to your family! We want to make sure you get the pet that fits your lifestyle and your needs, so we offer insights from our certified animal trainer.
You can visit our cat and dog pages to see what animals are available. Please remember that the availability of our animals changes all the time and not all animals at the shelter are pictured.

Matching People to Pets
When you see the animal you want to adopt, please call or visit the shelter to get more information. Adoptions must be completed at our shelter. When you come in, we’ll ask you some questions about your family, lifestyle, housing situation, and current expectations so that our staff can best match your needs with our great shelter residents.
Pet Adoption Policies
Dog Adoptions
• $75 fee for dogs that have been spayed/neutered.
• All dogs have been vet-checked, have appropriate vaccines, and have been heartworm tested.
• All dogs older than 10 weeks of age have been spayed or neutered. There is a $25 deposit payable at time of adoption for unspayed/unneutered puppies. This deposit is refunded upon proof of spay/neuter after adoption.
• It takes approximately 60 - 90 minutes to complete a dog adoption. Please plan your visit accordingly.
Cat Adoptions
• $60 fee for cats that have been spayed/neutered
• All cats are tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS, and are vet-checked and vaccinated.
• We spay/neuter all the shelter felines at 10 weeks of age.
• If you select a kitten that is too young to have been spayed or neutered, there is a $40 deposit payable at time of adoption. This deposit is refunded upon proof of spay/neuter after adoption.
• It takes approximately 30 - 45 minutes to complete a cat adoption. Please plan your visit accordingly.
