Inaugural Cincinnati Kale & Ale Festival Benefits the League

February 1, 2018

Kale & Ale, founded in 2017, celebrates food, beer and music throughout the U.S.  Their mission to bring communities together with a unique tasting experience comes to Cincinnati this summer.  They partner with farm-to-table restaurants, craft breweries and local music artists to highlight the "Think Global, Act Local" movement while raising awareness for local charities.  The League is proud to be the beneficiary of the first-ever Cincinnati Kale & Ale Festival at Sawyer Point on Saturday, July 21.  Kale & Ale has held festivals in Columbus and Cleveland and have plans to add new host cities outside of Ohio in 2019.

"I'm honored to have the opportunity to work with so many great people who are passionate about their work and community," says Kale & Ale Founder Amie Sparks.  "I am beyond excited to create a venue for local brewers and chefs to showcase their craft beer and creative dishes, offering healthier alternatives to the typical festival-fare and vegan & gluten-free options.  That we also have the opportunity to help support and raise awareness for local charity organizations is a dream come true."
