Get Involved

Volunteer

Whether it’s an hour or most of a day, once a week or just once in awhile – if you’ve got the time, we’ve got the opportunity!

For much of its 70-year history, the League has relied on volunteers to fulfill its mission. That tradition of volunteer involvement is at the heart of all we are and all we do, and it remains as strong as ever.

No time for a hands on orientation?  No problem, here are a few great ways to help!

First Sunday Hikes- We bring the dogs to you!  Locations vary monthly and are spread throughout the city.

Purrfect Tales Reading Program through the Clermont County Public Library.

Corporate Events- Teambuilding events onsite with the benefit of furry snuggles. Be prepared to work inside and out!

Field Trips With Furballs- Stop in during operational hours and take a dog off site for field trip!  You can go to the park for a walk or hike or even just a drive through Starbucks and treat him to a pupcup!  Anytime NOT in a kennel is much appreciated!

Pet Food Pantry- Help bag dog and cat food for local residents in need of assistance.

Spay/Neuter Clinic- Assist pet owners navigating surgical & wellness paperwork for our spay/neuter community clinics and vaccine clinics.

Retail Adoption Partners- Feed our kitties at our retail partners like Petco and clean their condos.

Transporter- Take animals to off site vet appointments or retail partners.  Or you can be their ride to freedom and bring new animals to the shelter!

Monthly volunteer orientation sessions are also available to familiarize new volunteers with shelter practices and procedures, and our friendly staff members are always available to offer pointers on dealing with the needs of individual animals.

Don’t wait — take a Furball on a Feild Trip today!

Call 513-735-2299 to sign up for orientation today!  Sessions are offered the 2nd Sundays and 4th Saturdays each month. To volunteer with dogs, you must be at least 18 years old. To volunteer with the cats, you must come with a parent or guardian if under 18.
